Kraepelin assumed that these symptoms are based on same features and put in under the same group of condition which is called dementia praecox in Latin language. Because he believed that the disorder involves some form of organic decline, its outcome was considered to be poor. In kraepelin schizophrenia test, also proposed that beginning in childhood which was become the each main point of disorders, will be rapidly change into “mental weakness”. In his view, the symptoms of schizophrenia were the result of disordered thought process affecting as these following: autism (complete-self-focus), associations (unconnected ideas), affect (inappropriate emotions), and ambivalence (uncertainty over actions).

Kraepelin’s result of schizophrenia test argued that the outcome of schizophrenia did not always involve progressive decline, and he believed that dementia praecox represented a group of disorders that have different causes. Bleuler’s schizophrenia test also theorized that environmental factors interacting with a genetic predisposition produced the disorder.
